Windmill Wednesdays at Prescott Farm: 3:30- 5:30 p.m. Have you always wanted to see the inside of the 1812 Prescott Farm windmill?  Now is your chance at this windmill open house!  Explore how this amazing machine works and learn about the importance of grist milling on Aquidneck Island.  Enjoy a family-friendly evening with johnnycake tasting and hands-on activities for kids.

National Night Out: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Family oriented fun with prizes, rock wall, raffles, food samples, bouncy house for the kids, antique firetrucks, meet and greet with police officers, demonstrations and so much more! National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.

Armory Farmers Market: 3:30 p.m. The market is located at the corner of Parade and Hudson Streets in Providence.

Burnside Music Series: 4:30 p.m. Each and every Thursday, July 9-September 10, the Trinity Beer Garden will open for business at 4:30 pm. Mill about and sip sangria to the melodious sounds of genius DJs from 4:30-6, and enjoy live music from 6-7.

Statewide Social #ChooseRI: We are pleased to invite you to the seventh annual Statewide Social for Rhode Island young professionals. This event is intended to bring the state’s young professionals together for a vibrant night of networking and celebrate why we #chooseRI.

Movies on the Block: 7:30 p.m. The city’s only outdoor movie theatre is back for another season! Join us every Thursday from June 4th to September 24th at Grant’s Block for night of watching great movies under the stars in the heart of Providence. Movie August 27: Badlands

Blackstone River Party/ Taste of the Valley: 6:00 p.m. The Pawtucket Arts Festival begins with the 17th Annual Taste of the Valley and Blackstone River Party. Join us for an evening of delicious restaurant food samplings, live music, dance, and refreshments under the tent on the grounds of Slater Mill.

As You Like It at Head Trick Theatre: 8:00 p.m. Fleeing a repressive court, Rosalind and Orlando escape to the Forest of Arden, a magical green world where they can find freedom, love, and (maybe) themselves. “As You Like It” is one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, filled with song and dance, and Head Trick Theatre is performing it this summer against a living forest backdrop in beautiful Blackstone Field!

Broad St. Farmers Market: 8:00 a.m.  Located at 807 Broad Street in Providence.

Hope St. Farmers Market: 9:00 a.m. Located at 1059 Hope Street in Providence.

Providence Roller Derby: 6:00 p.m. It’s summer time and that means Home Season is back, and we will once again be skating outside under the city lights of Providence! Bleacher seats available. Bring chairs for track side seating. After Party will be at The Village 373 Richmond St. Providence, RI.

The Providence Flea:  10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Every Sunday, rain or shine, from June 7 through September 13 on the Providence River Greenway, South Water Street (across from 345 South Water Street) in Providence, RI. (No admission fee)
