Wine and Food Festival at the Newport Mansions: At the Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival, one Grand Tasting admission price allows you to experience a tasting tour around the world with wine and food samples showcasing the finest vintages and cuisine available.  Plus, Grand Tasting parking is complimentary at Easton’s Beach on Memorial Boulevard, with free shuttle service to and from Marble House. Ticket sales are non-refundable.  All attendees must be 21 or over.

To Search: Investigations of the Virtual and Material Lives of Objects: This two-day conversation highlights the double lives of objects—- their local, intimate, and concrete quality as they reside in museums and their global, ubiquitous, and permeable virtual representations in digital media. It investigates the structures of knowledge and emergent network systems whose architectures and formal characteristics facilitate our encounters with objects. 1 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology

XOS Exchange Street Open Studios: More than 40 artists and designers in 3 renovated mill buildings in the of Exchange Street neighborhood of Pawtucket, RI will open their studios to visitors from 10 am to 4 pm on September 26 and 27, 2015. Visitors will see a wide array of artwork including paintings, sculpture, fine prints, photography, fine crafts, wearable art, jewelry, graphic and textile design and more.

Arts Marketplace: Pawtucket: An exciting exhibition and sale focusing on fine art and craft by artists throughout our region. A juried show whose mission is to meet high standards of technical and artistic excellence and to present the best of contemporary fine Art and American-made crafts in a comfortable, professional and accessible setting. Located at the Pawtucket Armory beginning at 10 a.m.

Urban Gardening Series: Join URI Master Gardener educators from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. outdoors in the inspiring Roger Williams Park Community Garden in Providence, RI.

WaterFire Providence Full Lighting: WaterFire’s Chinese Culture Night and Salute to Educators is back! Together with the Confucius Institute and US-China Institute at Bryant University WaterFire visitors will learn about Chinese Culture through interactive displays, exhibits and performances. Join WaterFire and the RI Department of Education to recognize the excellent educators in our community.
