Beaux Arts Ball at Newport Art Museum

Event Details

The Newport Art Museum presents the Beaux Arts Ball to honor Robert Manice and his wife Heidi, as well as the memory of his late mother, Beatrice G. Manice.

Robert has actively and passionately supported the Newport Art Museum through his service as a Museum Trustee, longtime member of our Collections Committee, contributor to the Cushing Gallery restoration and donor to our Wet Paint auction. Robert is an exhibiting artist with a singular fondness and talent for watercolor.

The inspiration for the Newport Art Museum and Art Association rose from a passionate desire to cultivate and nourish the creative spirit of our community’s artists. In celebration of this wellspring of artistic appreciation and support, we celebrate the artist’s vision in all its various guises, fantastical expressions, mixing of colors and attempts at the presentation in objective form what is seen in the mind’s eye.

In the spirit of artistic creation, the Museum’s Gala Party will entice the eye and the palette with theatricals, dinner by Russell Morin Fine Catering inside the Griswold House galleries, a silent auction and lively After Party dancing. Imaginative and colorful attire is encouraged.
