International Day of PeaceThe Peace Flag Project (PFP) will host a Parklet for PARK(ing) Day this year on September 19th from 8:00am – 4:00pm to bring awareness and recognition to the Month of Peace in RI and the International Day of Peace. The PFP Parklet will be in the parking space on the corner of Knight and Broadway at 347 Broadway, Providence.

Providence PARK(ing) Day will take place in Downtown Providence and on the West Side of Providence. PARK(ing) Day is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. The PFP’s Parklet will be a place to create peace flags and a place of reflection. We will have information about the PFP, the Month of Peace and the International Day of Peace.
