From 3:00-4:00 we will assemble, make peace flags and T-shirts!
From 4:00-6:00 we will do the peace walk from Memorial Park on South Main St to Union Station Plaza.
The Month of Peace in Rhode Island expands our celebrations of the United Nations International Day of Peace events. Peace is so important, and so much is done in RI in the name of Peace, a month of events seems appropriate. The Month is being organized by the Peace Flag Project (PFP). PFP has been the primary organizer of the UN Peace Days in Providence. We are joined by so many wonderful people and organizations throughout our state. Our events join Little Rhody with the people of the world who love peace.
