The first full lighting of the WaterFire season will take place on May 24th, 2014. The sunsets and the fires are lit at 8:07pm — with lots of fun activities before and after the flames are lit. the night’s event is sponsored by the Brown Alumni Association, Brown’s 250th Anniversary, and Bank of America.
The Brown Alumni Association (BAA) works to motivate alumni to engage with the University and advances lifelong connections. The BAA provides substantial funding to alumni programs, in support of its goal to facilitate alumni participation in the worldwide Brown University community.
Brown’s 250th Anniversary, celebrating the Anniversary of the University, invites everyone to honor their founders, recognize the men and women who shaped the school, and to acknowledge both their proudest moments and biggest challenges.
