FRINGE PVD is a presentation of fun, fearless and affordable theater to the local community. Take this as a rare opportunity to view a unique set of both inspiring and entertaining performances.
The Providence Fringe Festival is presented by The Wilbury Theatre Group in collaboration with WaterFire Providence, The Steel Yard and local partners throughout Providence. Fringe PVD has worked for almost a decade now to bring together over 300 performing artists from across the country to express their work through visual arts, dance, theater and everything in between.
In an effort to define Providence as a cultural destination, this organization strives to amplify the vibrancy of the city. Through collaboration with The Wilbury Theatre Group, ties are created between artists, audiences, businesses, local organizations in this great city!

Join us in the Valley! Grab dinner or some drinks at one of the many places that Providence has to offer and prepare for the night ahead. The Opening Night Party is taking place in the WaterFire Arts Center. Here, you can view a performance or two in addition to July’s featured gallery, the Accelerate Artists exhibit.
The fun doesn’t stop here, you’ll find that the scenic Woonasquatucket River bike path works its way through the neighborhood and connects all of the 2022 festival venues!
