Brown Center for Students of Color’s Heritage Series present: “A Brief and Wondrous Night with Junot Diaz.” Born in the Dominican Republic, Junot Diaz is a 2008 Pulitzer Prize winner, distinguished professor and author. On Saturday, November 14, 2015, Junot Diaz will speak about the relationship between scholarship, social justice and the use of academia for furthering social activism. This event will occur in the Salomon Center for Teaching, DeCiccio Family Auditorium, Room 101 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and a book signing in the lobby from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
