Connemara: Paintings From Yvonne King
The Current Exhibition at Providence City Hall’s Main Gallery
The 20 paintings featured in Yvonne King’s exhibition “Connemara” spotlight the Connemara landscape in Western Ireland where King resides from. ‘My work is known for landscape, it’s colour and traditions. I aim to capture the essence of place, seeing the value of history and relating it to the present. The inspiration for my work, primarily oils, ranges from the west of Ireland landscape to locations worldwide with historical and shared connections to Connemara’.
