Clear Currents 2019

WaterFire Providence and The Narragansett Bay Commission have partnered to present this year’s Clear Currents event.

 What is it?

On Saturday, August 3rd WaterFire celebrates improved water quality in Rhode Island. The river will light up with close to 60 illuminated Japanese koi, each mounted on the canoes and kayaks of experienced paddlers. This unique and vibrant display is the perfect compliment to the 80 wood burning braziers installed on the river.

Paddlers will be on the river between 7:30 Pm – 11:30 Pm
