Lauren Greenfield Talks “Like a Girl” Tonight

Filmmaker and documentary photographer Lauren Greenfield has achieved high praises for her “Like a Girl” campaign and for one night only she will speak at Lincoln School in Providence. The free event, which is open to the public, is part of the school’s visiting speaker’s series.

Greenfield is best known for Sundance 2012 opener The Queen of Versailles, as well as documentary filmsTHIN, kids + money and Beauty CULTure, which have all gone on to become traveling museum exhibits or have obtained awards

She will speak at the school about her viral “Like a Girl” campaign for Always, as well as a variety of other issues such as body image, portrayal of youth culture and more. She is very passionate about her beliefs, and it will certainly be an hour well spent.
