The core of Lamere’s work focuses on the natural world and its seasonal views. Forever inspired by the landscape of Cape Cod, her oil & encaustic paintings convey a sense of wonder with nature, often using multiple media and collage to enhance her vision of the landscape’s texture and immediacy.

Painter and cartoonist, Seamus O. Hames, Director of Arts at Top Drawer Art At The Brass, will be exhibiting a series of drawings focusing on the artists’ colony and fishing village of Monhegan Island, Maine.
Live ‘Rustic Ambient’ music or ‘Background Banjo’ will be provided by River Buddha’.
Feature Artist: ED MCALOON

Ed McAloon, is a mixed media artist residing in Warren, RI. His artwork reflects subjects of life-long concern. “Having lived near the sea my entire life, I’ve grown to respect its beauty and its creatures and be concerned for its preservation. The effect of the light is a constant fascination to me and this is reflected in my use of glass in much of my work. I also strive to express observations occurring in the world around me, and continue to investigate materials and methods which explore these possibilities.”

Keitner’s work in this exhibit is titled “Sans-souci” and was partially inspired by a quote from Betty Friedan, “Aging is not lost youth, but a new stage of opportunity and strength.” Born in Budapest in the mid-40s, Keitner graduated with a BFA from Ecole des Beaux Arts de Montreal, majoring in graphic design and photography. His prior work as a graphic designer, art director and commercial photographer informs his fine art photography.
