Clothing Optional: A Figurative Show

ArtProv gallery, a contemporary gallery located in the Jewelry District’s historic Doran Building at 150 Chestnut Street, will open its newest exhibit, “Clothing Optional: A Figurative Show,” on August 12 with an opening reception during Gallery Night Providence on August 20 from 5 – 9 p.m. The show will close on September 25.

“Clothing Optional” will feature works by a number of local, national and international artists, including: Jeff Bye, Ted DiLucia, Elizabeth Frank, Ted Gall, Kristy Goggio, Jeff Hall, Daniel Koterbay, Azamat Kuliev, James Paterson, Eleanor Rahim, Jeff Schneider, and David Witbeck.

“This show displays a variety of mediums and methods these artists use to depict the human form and the unique interpretations of figures that result,” says Michele Aucoin, ArtProv gallery co-owner.

ArtProv gallery is open Wednesday – Friday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., every Gallery Night Providence, and for evening and weekend appointments.
