About Mariachi de Brown: Mariachi de Brown is Brown University’s official mariachi band and Rhode Island’s only mariachi group, since 2005. They’re composed of undergrads and graduate students of many backgrounds united by a love of mariachi music and Mexican culture.

Mariachi de Brown is available for hire for private parties, surprise serenades, or any special events. They often play for cultural dinners, departmental functions, birthday parties, and at restaurants. You can also hear them around campus, playing at eateries or performing Mariarchis (the Mariachi version of an arch sing). Our Valentine’s Day serenatas are popular year after year.
