The Rhode Island Historical Society is offering waking tours of Benefit St. A Mile of History. Benefit St, in Providence may look like you have just taken a step back in time though the skyscrapers in the back round may beg to differ. On the walking tour you will learn the history of these 18th and 19 century houses. This is a great way to connect with the history of Providence. Tours will be taking place October 25, 28, and 30th starting at 11:00 AM. Tours will coast $15 for adults, $12 for Seniors, RIHS members and students $10, and free for children 8 and under.
