Music on the Hill: Joseph Kalichstein Returns

music on the hillAs a part of the Music on the Hill Festival Series, pianist Joseph Kalichstein will be performing works by Beethoven and Schubert in Sapinsley Hall at Rhode Island College.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Advanced ticket sales end June 1st.

About Joseph Kalichstein: Joseph Kalichstein enthralls audiences throughout the United States and Europe, winning equal praise as orchestral soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. He is acclaimed for the heartfelt intensity and technical mastery of his playing. A favorite of New York concert-goers, Mr. Kalichstein has appeared in several recitals on Carnegie Hall’s “Keyboard Virtuosi” series and is on the faculty at Juliard. Kalichstein has been a member of America’s Premier Trio, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson, for 35 years.

About Music on the Hill: Music on the Hill hosts an annual Festival Series of featuring prominent musicians who have come from, or currently live in Rhode Island during two weeks in June. Music on the Hill offers concerts at venues throughout the state. The Festival offers an enriched musical experience by incorporating “culinary concerts” that include a wine tasting, tantalizing appetizers and an assortment of desserts. Performers enhance the audience experience by sharing some history of the music and composers.
