Join us for a Friday evening paddle through Providence. Joseph N. (Jay) Waller, Jr. is a senior archaeologist with The Public Archaeology Laboratory, Inc., will share how the river changed from European settlement to industrialization to present. We go right through down-town Providence on this paddle, but we have seen red-tailed hawks, great blue herons, and many other birds in this stretch of the river. The complete trip is about 4 miles.
Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
