Come to the Smith field Rhode Island Appleby House Museum to, add an extra spooky decoration to your house this Halloween. At the paper cutting crafts: Halloween decorations event happening October 17 starting at 1:00 PM and going to 4:00 PM. The paper cutting crafts: Halloween decorations event is free for all children along with museum tours unless your an adult in which case the tour is $5. Have fun making all sorts of ghost and ghouls for Halloween and take a trip back in time in this living museum. The Appleby House was the home of Elisha Smith, the grandson of John Smith “The Miller,” a member of Roger Williams’ original party of six men who left the Massachusetts Bay Colony to start the colony of Providence, Rhode Island, in 1636.
