Join the Redwood Library and Athenaeum on Sunday, October 19, in the Harrison Room for the next Redwood “Screen and Discuss” documentary film. “Glass: A Portrait of Philip in 12 Parts” will be shown at 3:00 pm, followed by a short discussion.  $5 for Redwood members, $10 for non-members.

Academy Award®-nominated director Scott Hicks (“Shine”) documents an eventful year in the career and personal life of distinguished Western classical composer Philip Glass as he interacts with a number of friends and collaborators, who include Chuck Close, Ravi Shankar, and Martin Scorsese. – IMBd
