The Rhode Island Independent Publishing Expo (RIPExpo) is a spring weekend devoted to small-press and self-published comics, zines and books. Artists and writers from all over North America will join local creators to exhibit work and generate discussion. RIPExpo is committed to giving voice to those underrepresented in mainstream media.The RIPExpo main exhibition halls at the Providence Public Library will have over 120 exhibitors selling their small-press and self-published comics, zines and books. Running during the show will be panel discussions with creators and publishers, and in the evenings there will be various events throughout Providence. Free & open to the public!
