Touch the Moon Exhibition

The NASA/Brown Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI) will have a piece of the Moon at the 50th Apollo 11 Anniversary WaterFire event on July 20, 2019 that visitors can actually touch.

What is NASA/Brown SSERVI?

SSERVI is NASA’s virtual institute for exploration. Its mission is to encourage human exploration and scientific discovery. With the Moon being a primary source for research, a large portion of SSERVI’s background revolves around the Apollo mission.

The NASA/Brown SSERVI will have a piece of the Moon at the 50th Apollo Anniversary WaterFire on July 20th.

Where?

Visitors can head over to Market Square to get up close and touch a piece of the Moon.

When?

On July 20th, the exhibition will be on view at Market Square at Waterfire. After the 20th, it will be on view in the Northeast Planetary Data Center at Brown University (by appointment).
