Widening the Circle with Kathleen Pletcher, Julie Strandberg, and Rachel Balaban

Pletcher is FirstWorks‘ Executive Artistic Director, Strandberg is American Dance Legacy Initiative (ADLI) Co-Founder/Artistic Director, Artists and Scientists as Partners (ASaP) Co-Founder/Co-Director, and Founding Director of Dance at Brown University. Balaban is ASaP Co-Founder/Co-Director. Included in the Salon discussion will be an introduction to Mark Morris Dance Group’s Dance for PD® (Parkinson’s Disease) program.

Free and open to the public at the Providence Athenaeum.

Widening the Circle: Intersections of Art, Science and Community is a series of master classes, lecture demonstrations, performances, and seminars taking place 2/21-3/8, presented by FirstWorks and American Dance Legacy Initiative (ADLI), in collaboration with Artists and Scientists as Partners (ASaP), Brown University, and Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG).
