Wolfgang Holzmair at the Granoff Center for the Arts
Quite possibly the leading Lied baritone of his generation, Austrian Wolfgang Holzmair is an artist of rare communicative gifts. The Financial Times recently said “…no other singer of German song at the moment communicates so intently the rhythm and meaning of the poems.” Performing Franz Schubert’s posthumous collection of songs Schwanengesang (“Swan Song”), Holzmair will be joined by his long-time recital partner Russell Ryan.
Doors open at 7:15pm. Two tickets per person only. Seating is limited; handicapped seating is available.
