Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: A nighttime display of 5,000 illuminated jack-o-lanterns all along the beautiful Wetlands Trail, with well over 100 of the pumpkins carved into veritable works of art. Located at the Roger Williams Park Zoo, opens at 6 p.m.
Bo Burnham: Make Happy Tour Fall 2015: Bo’s live shows are a unique blend of stand-up, music, and theatre. He’s currently performing all over North America on his new “MAKE HAPPY TOUR.” Located at the Vets beginning at 8 p.m.
Brown University Latin Jazz and Pop Festival: The inaugural Brown University Latin Jazz and Pop Festival will bring some of the most exciting performers in contemporary Latin music to Providence, RI for five nights in October. All performances and talks will be free and open to the public.

Hope Street Farmers Market: Rain, shine or tropical storm, the Hope Street Farmers Market is OPEN! Located at 1059 Hope Street in Providence, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Your Passport to Survivorship and Wellness: Come to the Renaissance Providence Hotel and The VETs Memorial Auditorium for this one of a kind event directly relating to cancer patients, survivors and their families. Events include a main Show Floor featuring 30+ vendors specializing in health, wellness, cancer care and resources directed directly to patients, survivors and their families, survivor spa, nutrition lab, and keynote speaker.

WaterFire Providence – Full Lighting: Flames of Hope: The Flames of Hope a Celebration of Life™ event includes educational and awareness activities for survivors and their families from the afternoon into the evening in Station Park. To kick off the evening portion of the event will be the Illuminations of Life tribute on the steps of the State House followed by a procession of torch bearers walking down to Waterplace Basin which will include performances and the lighting of the braziers.
Play On- A Night Out for Big Kids: Gather your friends for a playful night out at Providence Children’s Museum – no kids allowed! Try your hand at creative games and activities, show off your vocal stylings in the karaoke lounge, make memories in a funny photo booth, enjoy a wine tasting with Campus Fine Wines, treat yourself in the beer garden and to food truck fare from Frannie’s Franks, Mama Kim’s Korean BBQ and O’Crepe.
And The Kids at Columbus Theatre: And The Kids will be performing at Columbus Theatre this Saturday night! Doors open at 8, show starts at 9 tickets are $10 advance, $12 day of show.
