Hope Street Spring Block Party 2014

hope streetThis year’s Hope Street Spring Block Party is sure to be a great event with live music, great food, and merchant specials. There’s fun for the whole family, including a beer garden, a fashion and wares show, and a ton of activities for the kids.

Musical guests featured at this Hope Street event will include Ravi ShaviAtlantic Thrills, Jay Berndt, Huge Face, Uke Springsteen, Joe’s Backyard Band, the Classical High School Jazz Band, and more to be announced!

Activities for the kids will include Big Nazo and the Extraordinary Rendition Band and Kids Zone complete with a Pop-Up Playground from the YMCA, horse drawn hay rides, a fire truck, and the Providence Children’s Museum.

The beer garden at the event will benefit Festival Ballet Providence and Hope Street Merchants Association and will feature local brews from Trinity Brewing, Narragansett Beer, Foolproof Brewing Company, and Revival Brewing Company.

When hunger strikes, be sure to check out Blaze East Side, Pizzico Ristorante, India Restaurant, Chez Pascal, Seven Stars Bakery, or Not Just Snacks or you can try something new from Poco Loco Tacos, Acacia Cafe, Championship Melt, Portu-Galo, Noble Knots, Like No Udder, SugarRush, or Del’s Lemonade & Refreshments, Inc..

If you want to be a step ahead in the fashion game this summer, don’t miss the Hope Street Fashion show at 2 pm, where models will show off clothes and accessories from local businesses. A raffle with assorted gift certificates valued at over $500 will be awarded to a single winner, so be sure to enter!

Once you’ve been inspired at the fashion show, you’ll want to shop at Olive del Mondo Providence RI, NBX Bikes, Studio Hop, J Marcel, Kreatelier, Frog and Toad, Pippa’s Papers, LULI Boutique, Blooming Blossoms Floral Boutique, Hope Returns, Creatoyvity, Green River Silver Co., and Stock Culinary Goods.
