“How do we know what humanity lies hidden under the rags and filth of a mangled life?”
In the first Australian penal colony, a group of convicts mounts a play for their guards. The play rehearsals incite the convicts’ struggle to reclaim their dignity in light of a homeland that has abandoned them. Our Country’s Good is a captivating exploration of the purpose of art and the resilience of the human spirit.
Featuring members of the Brown/Trinity Rep M.F.A. Acting class of 2017.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors, and $7 for students.
The house will open thirty minutes prior to when the performance begins. Please arrive early; late seating is at the discretion of house management.
Tickets for sold out performances may be available at the Pell Chafee Performance Center Box Office on the day of show.
