Projections: ‘1395 Days Without Red’

Šejla Kamerić’s visually provocative reenactment of a journey through war-torn city streets examines the lingering effects of the siege of Sarajevo in the early 1990s. Discussion follows with Keith Brown, Brown University professor of international studies and director of the International Advanced Research Institute. (2011, 65 min.) Reservations recommended.  Taking place at the RISD museum starting December 11th at 6:30 PM to 8:30PM. Projections:’ 1395 Days Without Red’ will cost members will be free; adults $12; seniors $10; youth (ages five to eighteen) $3; children younger than five free. College students with valid ID $5; Staff, faculty and students of RISD or member institutions (with valid ID) free. This looks to be a very educational and emotional film screening.
