Southside Community Land Trust’s Urban Agriculture Kickoff
SCLT is hosting the 2014 Urban Agriculture Kickoff at the Roger Williams Botanical Garden from March 8th, 1-3pm.
Come celebrate the start of the new growing season with workshops about Healthy Soil Testing, Seed Saving, Beginner Organic Growing, and Fruit Tree planting.
There will be demonstrations about beekeeping, composting, and more. Providence Community Libraries will be sponsoring a seed swap so bring in your favorite seeds and swap for convention and unusual seeds from Asia and Africa!
