Winter Birding Van Trip

The winter birding van trip is being put on by the Audubon Society of Rhode Island. Take a bus trip to see some of Rhode Islands coastal habitat and ponds were winter waterfowl make their homes. The types of birds that maybe out this time of year are Barrow’s Golden-eye, Canvasback, and Eider just to name a few of the species. The bus will be stopping at a variety of differ location that are popular among waterfowl this time of year including Trustom Pond, Point Judith, and Quonochontaug Pond. Remember to dress for the weather. Also remember to pack a lunch as one will not be provided.
