We sell fruits, vegetables, flowers, cheese, breads and pastries, pasture-raised meats, seafood, poultry and eggs, and many other items that we grow, make or raise ourselves. Load up your shopping bags with great things to eat, listen to live music and spend time with your neighbors – all at Lippitt Park on the East Side of Providence where Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard meet.

Theater/Music
Fuente Ovejuna

A modern, music-infused retelling of the classic Spanish story of tyranny overthrown. In 15th-century Spain, a menacing Commander terrorizes a small town’s citizens—especially the women. Pushed to their limit, the people of Fuente Ovejuna rise up against their oppressor in a fierce act of unity and bravery. Based on actual events, the story was immortalized by one of Spain’s greatest and most influential Golden Age dramatists. Now, Trinity Rep’s adaptation of this timeless masterpiece reverberates with fresh urgency.

The Brown University 5Y String quintet presents a program of works by Mendelssohn, Bach, Schubert, and Vaughan Williams.

What Cheer Goodbye Party

After 18 years as a retail shop, What Cheer Records + Vintage is closing and moving everything to the internet and our events. But before we go, we want to celebrate the shop and Thayer Street’s history with an all-day local music bash.

Maybird with The Sun Parade

Twangy psychedelia with a funhouse bounce, Maybird modernizes blissful space-rock with a playful sense of pop songwriting. These New York mind-melters emerged in 2013 with Down & Under, a lush headphone symphony which introduced their unique mixture of ELO and The Strokes. Torch songs for intergalactic travel, Maybird proves irresistible in their hooky hypnosis.

Art
Black Spatial Relics

Join Heimark artists-in-residence, ChE and Jaymes Jorsling for a discussion about their works and creative processes over the course of 2016-2017 Black Spatial Relics Project. In their respective works, Tripping Over Roots (Jaymes Jorsling) and OPINION | The Other America: A #DIGNITYINPROCESS Art Action (ChE), these artists are each working and dreaming through rigorous questions of trans-historical solidarity between the lives and struggles of enslaved Africans in the United States and the contemporary freedom struggles of Black people in the United States. Come and learn more about the creative processes, collaborations and research that inspired them to develop these works!
